Thank you so much. This brought back fond memories as a child at my grandmothers before Christmas. She made these for everyone. Now this was over 50 years ago, so you know how long this pattern (or like it) has been around.
Again, thank you.

Personal Easter Eggs
Personalized Easter Eggs are sure to brighten up anyone's day. Simply print out pictures onto plain paper and decoupage them onto a plastic egg.
Instructions:
Using your printer, print out photos from your camera onto regular paper. For our eggs we printed out one sheet of miniature prints using the "contact sheet" function.Regular printer paper works best for this project - do not use photo paper as it will not adhere well.
Cut out the pictures that you want to put on your eggs.
Cover the back of the picture with decoupage glue.
Place the picture on to the plastic egg.
Apply decoupage glue to the front of the picture. More...

Glue Arts GlueGliderMax - Biggest Tape Runner Ever!
The GlueGliderMax is by far the biggest tape runner I have ever seen. I had a chance to play with it at the Craft and Hobby Association Tradeshow this winter and absolutely fell in love with it! Why??? Well, because it's bigger so I'm saving time and money. No more muliple strips of tape - just a spot of GlueGlider here and there. It's easy to change out the adhesive too! Can you tell that I'm excited about it?
Anyway, the GlueGliderMax retails for $50, but for a limited time you can purchase one in our store for only $39.99! What a deal! You can be the very first scrapbooker on your street with this very unique yet functional adhesive. It also makes a great gift for that scrapbooker in your life who already has EVERYTHING! Order GlueGliderMax today!
The Glue Glider Max is high-tack, and uniquely dispenses in die-cut rectangles or one long 1" wide strip. With over 120 ft. of aggresive tack, it is perfect for for easy application on paper crafts, vellum papers and transparencies, holiday decorations, home décor items and more!

CHA Winter Show 2008
Well I've recently returned from the Craft and Hobby Association's 2008 winter show and I must say it was quite the adventure. I spent four days meeting with various businesses and craft experts as well as attending multiple seminars and classes. Each day began at 5:30am and ended as I passed out at midnight.
My Mission... get as much out of the show as possible and bring as much knowledge as possibible to my customers...and boy did I! I walked miles upon miles, crafted more in 4 days than I had in 4 years, took over 20 hours of educational classes, and met a few hundred new companies. In all I would say this was a sucesssful tradeshow.
While I was there I was able to see financial guru Suze Orman speak on women and money. Of course, what would the experience be without actually asking her a financial question. I mean, a once in a lifetime opportunity - was I to pass it up? Of course not. I stood in line and asked about investing in the real estate market - to which she promptly poo pooed me and told me that now is not the time. Here we are at her book signing.
And who could even think of attending a craft tradeshow without meeting the queen of one stroke painting? I was fortunate enough to take a class from Donna Dewberry herself in which I learned how to make a tiled mirror from Sculptey clay. Who knew the clay my kids use could make such a pretty mirror? The new Sculptey clay studio line is absolutely gorgeous and they've actually made tools to use with the product line...it's about time!
Some of the projects that I made while I was there actually turned out pretty cute. Here is an art journal made with cute stickers from Sandylion binded with a new cutting and binding system called (zutter). Keep an eye out for Zutter products coming to our store in March!
Provocraft had some of the cutest make and takes using their Cricut Expressions line. I created this pirate frame and Winnie the Pooh box using their die cuts.
Of course some of my projects didn't turn out so great - but just having the chance to learn a new technique was well worth the effort. The best part of the entire experience was watching both men and women sitting at various vendor booths learning, creating, and having so much fun. After all, isn't that is what crafting is all about?
Until next time - keep krafting!

From Beads to Blogging
Welcome to All Things Krafty!
Well we at www.KraftyKid.com decided to take the plunge into the world of blogging. So... guess who gets the job of blogger...me of course! So I've put down the bead projects to venture into learning a thing or two about blogs. Did you know that blog was derived from Web Log? I suppose that Web Log was too long for some folks to say so they took out the "WE" and ended up with blog.
I wonder what would happen if the crafting folks did the same thing??? Let's try some...instead of crimp beads - use "pbeads". Has anyone seen my pbeads? I need to close up the end of my strand. Instead of beading wire - use "gwire"...ok...let's just stop here gwire seems like it should be something skimpy hooked up to the back of my pc.
Anyway, the purpose of this blog is to provide you with up to date information on craft trends, new products, craft ideas, sales, and so much more. I'll try not to go too far off tangent, but if I do, just remember - I may not have all of my wires attached because I've lost way to many "pbeads".
